Design and development of \"national data sheets\" for intermodal transport<\/h5><\/div>

Project description<\/h3><\/div>

The ReMuNet project - Resilient Multimodal freight transport Network - is a project co-funded by the EU as part of the Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Actions programme. It identifies and reports incidents and assesses their impact on multimodal transport corridors. ReMuNet<\/span> Coordinates route usage, suggests transhipment points and optimises capacity allocation to minimise damage and reduce recovery time.<\/p>\n

My client, the UIRR<\/span>is a partner of the ReMuNet project. The UIRR<\/span> must develop a standardised framework to describe the European intermodal transport networks and carry out studies and surveys among CT stakeholders to identify the relevant market requirements.<\/p>\n

Together with the SGKV<\/span> I am subcontracted to support the UIRR in some of its project tasks. In close coordination with the UIRR and in division of labour with the SGKV, I am compiling a catalogue with \"national data sheets\" for intermodal transport for 17 countries along two corridors of the trans-European transport network. This catalogue should contain valuable information, such as the volume of traffic, the active market participants (CT operators, rail transport companies, etc.), the most important contacts at the authorities (ministries, parliament, regulatory authorities, etc.), important laws, etc. To this end, we research and collect quantitative and qualitative data, prepare it and visualise it in fact sheets.<\/p>\n

The project language is English.<\/p>\n
