Knowledge-based planning and mobile radio data belong closely together. Mobile radio data play a decisive role in more and more areas of life when it comes to planning. Private and municipal actors use this big data for their analyses and strategic decisions, for example in the retail sector, in the mobility sector and increasingly also in tourism. The Dresden Marketing Ltd uses mobile phone data for in-house market and trend research.
Interactive dashboards are helpful analysis tools to make mobile data easily accessible and usable for the purposes of the customers. The dashboards enable individual evaluations, presentations and downloads of complex data. Dresden Marketing GmbH uses for its purposes Tableau-Dashboards.
Within the scope of this project I was assigned to update the existing dashboards for Dresden Marketing GmbH. This mainly includes the import of additional, partly calibrated data, the creation of an additional and the optimization of the existing dashboards.
